Private or shared: what changes
Any of the four routes, your rhythm
Pick the Classic order (Taray, Pisac, Ollantaytambo, Chinchero) or the VIP order (Chinchero, Maras, Moray, Ollantaytambo, Pisac), and end in Cusco or at the Ollantaytambo station. With your own vehicle the stops can stretch or shrink: an extra half hour with the weavers, a shorter market, a nap for the youngest between Moray and lunch. The four routes, side by side.
Who books it
Families with children or grandparents, groups of friends of six or more, travellers who need to avoid the 06:20 start, and anyone who wants the valley without a shared bus. From eight people it also costs less per head than most upgrades on the scheduled tours.
