Related questions

Short answers to what we get asked most. If your question is different, write to us.

Why does the Classic end at Chinchero?

Because it is the highest stop, 3,762 m, and the afternoon gives first-day visitors time to adjust before reaching it. The VIP does the opposite and opens there.

Does the Classic visit Maras and Moray?

No. Those two are the reason the VIP exists; the VIP from US$32 adds them and starts an hour earlier.

How long do we have at the Pisac market?

Thirty minutes after the hour at the archaeological site. It is the main shopping stop of the day.

Can I end this route in Ollantaytambo?

Yes: the Classic ending in Ollantaytambo follows the same stops until 15:30 and skips Chinchero. US$29.
