Sacred Valley Classic tour ending in Ollantaytambo, for the train to Machu Picchu
The same first half as the Classic that returns to Cusco: Taray viewpoint, Pisac and lunch in Urubamba, then the visit to Ollantaytambo, where the tour ends at 15:30 a short walk from the train station. You skip Chinchero and the 45-minute drive back, and the price drops by US$1 because the return is not included. Built for travellers who sleep in Aguas Calientes tonight or stay in the valley.

Who this tour is not for
If you want Chinchero, this version does not go there; take the Classic back to Cusco (US$30). If you want Maras and Moray and still need to end at the station, the VIP ending in Ollantaytambo (US$31) does exactly that.
Before you book the Classic
Short answers to what we get asked most. If your question is different, write to us.
What time do we reach Ollantaytambo?
The visit starts at 14:15 and the tour ends at 15:30 in the town. The station is about a 10-minute walk from the main square.
Which train should I book?
Any departure from 16:36 leaves a margin after the walk; the most used are the 16:36 Inca Rail and the 19:00 Peru Rail. See our page on connecting with the train.
What about my luggage?
Bring it on the tour. It travels in the vehicle and comes with you to Ollantaytambo; most rail companies allow a cabin-size bag per passenger, so check your operator's limit.
Why is it US$1 cheaper?
Because the return transfer to Cusco is not part of the service. Everything else, guide, lunch and transport between sites, is identical.
Which tickets do I need?
The Tourist Ticket, valid here at Pisac and Ollantaytambo. No Maras ticket on this route.
Can I stay in the valley instead of taking the train?
Yes. The tour ends in Ollantaytambo and you are free to check into a hotel there or in Urubamba.
What is the cancellation policy?
70% refund with 30 days' notice or more; 50% under 72 hours; 30% under 48 hours; nothing under 24 hours or for no-shows.
